My mom has had SD for 25 years, and she is also a breast cancer survivor. She is a beautiful, and spirited woman who won't let it drag her down.

This group is for those of us who know someone with this rare disease, a place to talk, learn new things, ask questions, and share happiness and sorrows. Personally, I know I have questions, and wonderful stories to share about this rare affliction.

* we are not doctors - we can speak from our experiences, but we are not professionals. if you need medical, or emotional attention, please seek that help in your local community. we can listen, empathize, etc. but, once again we are not doctors.
