I have the same situation as you...had my first fill 12/13 and felt like I was still eating like crap. I think the holidays did make it tough but for me it's a combination of my mind still wanting to eat like I used to and my body saying no you can't. For me...I had to find the foods that made me feel full and stick with those. I've found that eating small throughout the day helps with overeating. I keep low-fat string cheese handy when I need to munch and started buying soy chips they're like 70 calories with anywhere between 6.5 - 9 grams of protein so for an in-between-meal snack it's good and satisfies my need for crunchy things. Even with a fill I haven't had a problem eating those. Exercise helps too...it keeps my mind off of my stomach! Hang in there and good luck. This has to be the hardest thing I've had to do...hang in there you're not alone.

I have been overeating and making wrong food choices for two weeks. My
last filling was Dec. 19. Do I need a filling? Is it a combination of
the holidays and/or winter. I am sure it is my old nature acting up and
I need some support and advice. Up until now I have done so good. I had
surgery on Sept 24, 2007. Because of the distance I live from Hampton I
would like to see what advice and encouragement I can get from this.
Thanks.
