I had my surgery on the 12th of this year. In the last two weeks my hair is falling out, does anyone know the name of the pill that you can take to help this.

Silica complex from puritan's pride website. The same thing happened to me and I

read a blog that it worked well. Thanks to this pill I didn't loose too much and

I have healthy shiny hair. Give it a month at least to notice the slow down of

your hair falling out. I am a year and a half out and I still take the vitamin.

    I am very curious about Silica Complex. I have never heard of it. I have been taking Biotin for the past 1 yr and 8 months and I am still losing hair. It doesn't seem to work.
    Can someone tell me more about this other vitamin...

Does this mean your hair has grown back since you began taking Biotinl?  I have also lost a great deal of hair and am searching for a solution. Surgery was January 5, 2009.

Yes My hair has grown back I did a MAJOR cut due to loss of hair. Now thick and full again and back  to my old self.

You can purchase Biotin at Walmart.  It will not stop it from falling out but it will help.  My hair fell out up until I was at least 9 months out.  I am not a year out and it has stopped.  The biotin will help
