YES!!!!!
I had it going into the surgery and I was convinced my
husband would not come out of surgery without dying. We both survived and are
doing great.

A good friend will come bail you out of jail...but a true friend will be
sitting next to you saying....
Damn....We screwed up!!!!!

[sch_gastric_bypass_support] New person with questions!
Greetings everyone! I am excited to find a group
through Sentara,
because I am familiar with them from when we were stationed in VB. I am
now in GA, but I am on the road to get surgery, most likely this
summer.
I am a 22/24, 32 years old. I have PCOS, asthma, arthitis, and
fibromyalgia. I know in my heart that DO need to get surgery. I also
have a massive family hx of heart disease and diabetes and both of my
parents passed early. I know that this is absolutely the best solution
for me. But here is my question: Maybe this is from everyone I know
freaking out about the risks involved, but I have a serious fear of
dying in the operation. I have two kids and I don't want to leave them
or my husband behind. I know this is the best thing for me, but I
battle with this constant fear. Did anyone else have this? How did you
get over it?
Thanks!
