I am a member of Gold's gym. I had been going 4-5 times a week, eating right and had lost about 70 lbs and then just stalled. Being diabetic, the meds were hindering any further weight loss. My bp and cholesterol had gone too high and i am on meds for that as well as many other medical problems. I really was so discouraged at what to do. I know this will work wonders because I do know the importance of eating right and exercise and am already in that habit, I just needed this boost to continue my weight loss. I heard that Dr Clark always removes the gall bladder while Dr T only does if there is already stones. I didn't so he will put me on the meds to prevent them.
I'm glad to have you to talk to and am so happy that you are doing well.
Have a wonderful day!
Debbie

Dr Clark did mine and uses a different procedure. So things may be different. The bad taste came after a week or so. One I remember the most was diet orangeade. I could not drink it. Food you thought you couldn't wait to have again don't have same appeals for and stuff you never liked before or it was ok before now you may enjoy it more. If you get dehydrated the is possibly for gall bladder or kidney stones and they are no fun. I had kidney in May along with low potassium. Down the rod another key is exercise or at least being more active. There is group exercise at Sentra Health and Fitness plus they just moved across from hospital and most of equipment is new. All the trainers teaching class are great. If you want to know more let me know. Remember that surgery is just one of tools to weight loss and start of lifestyle change. It be a year for me on the 26th and l already lost over 160 Lb and building muscle. I feel the best i have for years. I feel it may be best thing I ever done and wish i had done it sooner.
