Re: question pleaseee help

Hi! I had the same problem for quite a while afterwards. ( I had my
surgery the end of June 2007) I was really concerned as well. My
surgeon sent me to do lab work twice...they had me take 3 stool
samples and take them to the lab. He said he wanted to make sure
there was no bacteria in my colon. Thank goodness all turned out
well. I have bouts with it still sometimes. I have noticed that red
dye....like the sugar-free jello, crystal light, etc. seems to get me
started! Weird, huh? It may not be the dye but the artifical
sweetners. I am not sure. But it doesn't seem to happen quite as
often. Hang in there and I would call my Dr. back to be sure. (Oh,
and stock up on the Charmin :) I was so discouraged when that was
happening right out of surgery, as if we need anything else to make
us uncomfortable right out! Hope things get better for you!
