Re: [sch_gastric_bypass_support] Thanks-It was good to hear from You All

Hey there!  I am 1 yr post opt and hated the protein shakes! I recently started adding them back in, because I too feel like I'm eating too much.  Try just a regular protein shake mix (I use vanilla), mix with milk, and I use 1/2 package of jello gelatin (I love the orange). Mix real well and it tastest just like a creamsicle. I've found the jello mix really hides the taste of the protein!  I put it in the freezer for about an hour and drink it for breakfast at my desk at work. You can mix the night before and have it for the morning, put ice in and into the fridge if you don't have enough time to leave it in the freezer and thaw out.
Hope this was helpful!!!! Keep up the hard work!  You've come such a long way, good job getting back on track!  How far out of surgery are you?

Hello All,
Well from my heading you can tell I'm Southern. I have gained abut 50 lbs since my surgery. I find that I can eat quite a bit of food.  I am trying to get back on track.  My down fall is no exercise and grazing. I am trying to eat healthier. I have lost 13 lbs since I joined this group.

Any good quick high protein meal ideas for breakfast?
