Hey there, thanks for the offer. I was a year out on October 9th and have lost 111 pounds. My question to you is how did you gain weight back? My doctor said that the only way I would gain back is through high calorie liquids. What do you think? I would hate to go back to what I used to be. I had always wanted the surgery but the two times I tried there was something hapoening in my life that prevented ne from doing so. I ended up in ER with chest pain and coughing up blood, very weak. I was bleeding internally and needed 8 pints of blood and they found that I had a tumor in my stomach. So, they did the surgery to get the cancer out long story short! It was a real struggle, I almost lost my life after surgery. But I am here now! Thanks for any advise :-)

Hello,
My name is Matt Williams. I had the Gastric Bypass October 31, 2006.
I am going through school to become a Bariatric Nurse and I want to
offer my assistance to anyone that needs to speak to someone Pre Op or
Post Op. I have been through alot and I'm sure I can help you out if
you may need it from a Post Op patient. I have lost over 150 Lbs
within my first 2 years, But unfortunatly I have gained some back but
I'm back on a very strict diet and exercise program.
I made a blog 2 years ago that outlines my experiences in a first
person perspective that I keep updated almost everyday. The URL is:

My Email is mwnnva79@yahoo. com. Don't be shy if you need to ask me a
question. More then likely I've been there and done that..lol
Thank You,
Matt Williams
