Thanks so much Deb for responding to me. I am just worried about ending up in the hospital because I am dehydrated. So even though I don't get it all in right now I am okay? Yes, I will continue to drink baby sips:) I aint gonna quit.

Everything will take getting used to. You need to keep the mindset of tiny sips all day long. Even what you think may be a sip, could be too much right now. You will adjust, its good that you are keeping a mindset of "let me get it in". Don't give up and not drink because it is uncomfortable. Just keep sipping. Don't drink anything that isn't protein right now. Its important to get that in.

I am 8 days out and I can't get in my fluids. I have tried today to
drink the isopure so I can get in protien. But I have barely drank
anything form the bottle.
Yesterday I told my Doctor I was feeling like my drink was stuck and
then would trickle down. She said it would go away with time and that
I was taking to big of swollows. I have been very careful to barely
sip and still felt it. Now today though it's not so bad, but I am
still not drinking much at all. The day of surgery I was very
dehydrated.
Any thoughts of what I can do PLEASE
