Susan, yes I do remember you.? You were phasing in on the board as I was
leaving.? Yes, I had a shunt last from age 13 to age 34.?? Then after that I had
two redone with in the span of less than two years.?? My current one is not
quite three years old.?? Gosh your kids have grown.? She was a little bitty
thing the last time I saw her.? She's my niece's age.? Good to hear from you.

Hi Shelly...not sure if you remember me from years ago. I was on the Board
way back. I also met Joanne Mackey at one time. Julia Grace is now 12. We
live in Clemmons. Did you say you had a shunt (working) for 22 years? Wow!
Maybe there is hope that JG isn't headed towards a malfunction. Her is
almost 13 years old and it scares me that it could go any time...much more
so than from ages 4-10. I sure wish we had more resources in NC so people
could get together more often. JG plays basketball in Charlotte with the
Rollin' Bobcats and lots of the kids have SB, so she gets to see others,
plus she goes to Camp Carefree and next year, we hope, to Victory Junction
again.

I'm 31 years old, I have SB, and I live in Winston-Salem NC in a
HUD-assisted apartment for mobility impaired people who have low income.
I've been living in NC all my life and I love it! Hope you enjoy it here as
much as I do!
