I just realized that you sent this email out a while ago and no one
has responded. So, I will share my progress.

I am currently 16 weeks 2 days pregnant with our 4th child. This is
my 3rd pregnancy. My first was 5 years ago with fraternal twin boys.
Then March 2007, I found out the I was pregnant with our 3rd, a boy,
Boden Truett. Boden became our angel on November 2, 2007, just 2 days
before my scheduled c-section, November 5, 2007. He grew his angel
wings as a result of cord compression.

I found out about my current pregnancy 2 weeks before Boden's 1st
heavenly birthday...truly a gift from our cherished angel. I have
debated over whether or not to find out the sex, because after all,
what if I don't bring this baby home? The thoughts have crossed my
mind. However, at my 12 week Nuchal Translucency scan, the baby was
hiding the parts. Most of my friends have been told what they are
having at this test...so we were a little excited about the thought.
The following week, the legs were crossed just at the right spot. So,
now I am very curious...is it a 4th boy? or is it the little princess
my husband has secretly wanted? By the way, Boden was to be our last.
We will find out on Jan. 19, 2009...I will be 17 weeks and cannot
wait to see the little person inside. Another by the way, my doctors
have been very understanding since my loss was the first full term
loss the practice has had since 1993. Whatever I have wanted, they
have allowed, so many ultrasounds:) I also am welcomed to have
heartbeat checks...had the 2nd one last Friday. My nerves have been
on the edge...because I know the worst that can happen.

My goal for this pregnancy is to enjoy every minute of it, relax, let
my boys get to know the baby inside(regardless), TRY to not the last
brush with death get to me...I know Boden had something to do with
this...when we first first held our angel, we knew more were to come
our way, BUT, only when Boden was ready to be a big brother...I take
it that he is...

Thanks for letting me share my novel...

Much love to all,

Patty Adair

Tracy,
You and little Tripp will be in my thoughts and prayers.  This is a wonderful Christmas gift for you and your family... There is much to be thankful for with his kidneys being the correct size and the fluid amount right.  I am praying that whatever the issue is; it will be corrected quickly.

God bless,
Crystal

Tracy,

We will all be thinking and praying for your safe delivery and Tripp to be just fine.  I am sorry you have had to go through this situation this week.  It is very positive that Tripp's kidneys are the correct size, and they are producing a good level of fluid.  Very positive.

Please keep us posted as you can.

Take care,
Marcia

Hi Everyone,

I am being induced this friday evening at Kennestone. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and they did a biophysical to check movement, breathing and fluid levels. All turned out fine. The sonographer happen to look at the kidneys and noticed that something wasn't right. ofcourse, they didn't say anything to me at the time. I went on with my appt and when I was thinking I was finishing up the midwife told me she had called my perinatologist to discuss what they found on the sono. My heart went in my throat. Basically, we wont know the extent of problem with the kidneys until he gets here and has a sono done. He is relying on me right now to function. There is some positive news in all of this though. His kidneys are normal size and he has the right amount of fluid. So we are praying that it isn't something they can't correct immediately. This is our prayer at least.

This is going to be a wonderful blessing at christmas. I am so thrilled and excited I can't stand it. I was a nervous about all this on tuesday and up until yesterday afternoon because I was hoping to go into labor without having to worry about his health and then my midwife called me yesterday and said that she had been reading up on the condition and said that she was very hopefull for Tripp because he has some really good signs working for him with his fluid level being good and the size of his kidneys. So I felt a huge sign of relief and just know that everything will turn out fine.

I will update everyone as soon as possible. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Blessings,
Tracy

We are a small community, but friendly. :-)

I am Julie, the mod. I lost my son Caleb in 2004....born at 24weeks
and lived 8 days. We don't know why I went into labor so early, and
Lord knows I had every test in the book. I had an early miscarriage in
2005 also.

I had a successful pregnancy in 2006.....cerclage, bedrest, preterm
contractions....and my daughter is now 2!

Please let us know how you are doing....we all have been there and know
how scary things can be.

Peace,

Julie

Amazing isn't it? Don't get too comfortable with him not walking yet.  He will, soon enough, trust me. Hope and Mikey have their own little language, as well.  It is very sweet to watch and to be included in their little conversations, isn't it?  They just grow up so fast... Can you believe that in two weeks, my little man will be 1 year old?  It seems surreal to me; I never knew how blessed I would be this time four years ago... We have come a LONG way, and I am glad that we connected... You have given me laughs and let me rage, and cry when I felt no one else was there... So, thank you!

Hello,

Things are well in our household. I can't believe that Nickolaj is almost 3 months old. Having a full term baby is so different then having a preemie. I am less cautious with him and he does things a lot faster then Olivia did. Already he is holding up his head. I keep expecting him to get up and walk away. I still have a little time before that happens though :). I love seeing Olivia with her little brother. At 2 she is such the little mama. She knows his cries and I have to say she is spot on. It is fascinating to see her go from talking in English to talking to Nick in baby talk and then translate for me back in English. Olivia has truly given me the gift of laughter.

Hi Julie and everyone else...

Michael and I are great. He is almost a year old, in 2 weeks, and
growing like crazy. He is constantly chasing his big sister around and
she loves it. He started walking on Thanksgiving Day and has not

(probably not so little now) girl are good. We be checking on you all
a little more frequently now that my crazy life has settled somewhat.

CONGRATS! You are so close. My daugther Sarah Cate was born at
36w3d and was perfect...no issues, no NICU, all was well.... so IF
you don't quite make it to 37weeks, don't be scared as you are now in
a really safe place....of course the best for them is to be in the
belly as long as possible.

I can't believe its almost your time...I am so excited for you!

Tracy,

We all are thinking about you and your little one.  Sounds as though things are getting real close.  My doctor used to say they'd come when they were fully cooked!!!LOl  We want them to come that way...no sooner.  MODS says 37 weeks is good.  At the volunteer conference 2 years ago they had a doctor talking about all of the brain development that goes on from 34 to 37 weeks.  Wow!!  Of course, we preemies (I was a 32 weeker) DO catch up....Well, I think I did!!  But it is best to be inside momma for that time.

Take care and keep us posted.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I will be 36 weeks tomorrow. Yippee!!! On Tuesday I woke up at 2am and was having cramps and contractions that did not let up. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep that night. I did have a doctor appt at 9am and I had a  non-stress test scheduled in which they showed me having contractions every 3 min apart consistently. My midwife checked me and I am 50% effaced and 1cm dilated. I went home and rested all day to see if the contractions would stop. They eventually stopped middle of the night. They did space out to 7 min. apart later that afternoon, so I felt good that they were going to stop later on.

I am praying that I can make it to 37 weeks, just one more week for this little one to be fully cooked. I do hope to deliver early and with all the pressure and contractions I am having, there may be a good possibility.

I can't wait to hold this little man soon. How is everyone else doing?

Blessings,
Tracy

Tracy, hang in there. I was so uncomfortable with Sarah at the
end....and she did come 4 weeks early, but weighed 7lbs 15oz. TRY to
enjoy your time now and that special bonding with them in the belly.
I am glad time has gone by quickly and that you are enjoying yourself
with all the "normal" things. Can't wait to see Tripp!

Tracy,

I am so happy that things are going well and that you are able to enjoy this pregnancy. I can not wait to hear when Tripp arrives. Our boys will be close in age so we will have to get them together.

Happy Thanksgiving All!!!

I will be 34 weeks on friday and I can't believe it, this pregnancy has flown by. I have felt this little guy moving more with this pregnancy than with my last. I now know what it feels like to have body parts shoved up in your ribs. I have had two wonderful baby showers that my family and friends threw for me, one this past saturday and the other two weeks ago. I got lots of great stuff for Tripp. I didn't get to enjoy that last pregnancy. I feel so blessed and thankful to being caring this baby. I have had so much love and support from my friends and family lately, that it make me feel overwhelmed with joy. Everyone can't wait to meet Tripp.

So we are doing great and I am super excited that I only have a few short weeks to go. I would love for him to come early, towards the end of December. That would be fine with me.

Lets keep eachother posted....

Blessings,

Hi Everyone! We've been a quiet bunch lately (including me!!). Hope
everyone is doing well. My update is that I am being induced one
week from today!! I will be 39 weeks -- they want me to discontinue
the heparin treatment I've been on and then be induced a few days
later so that I'll be heparin-free during labor. We are very excited
and nervous and all kinds of emotions as you can imagine. I don't
think I will quite believe it until we have that baby in our arms!

Hope everyone else is doing well. Prayers for happy healthy
pregnancies for you all and for a wonderful holiday.
