PRENATAL MASSAGE CE COURSE DESCRIPTION
Develop and enhance your prenatal massage skills in this learner friendly
course. Explore techniques specifically developed to enhance prenatal comfort,
health and enjoyment. Practice and receive personalized feedback regarding
techniques modified for emotional, structural, and physiological challenges of
the childbearing year. The focus will be on relieving common pregnancy pain and
dysfunctions; alleviating musculoskeletal strain and pain; recognizing potential
benefits of prenatal massage, as well as contraindications and precautions; and
providing nurturing support and stress reduction. In this experiential class,
working in pairs, there will be an opportunity to experience giving and
receiving prenatal massage with individualized tableside assistance.
