In this Aromatherapy for Massage and Bodywork CE class, participants will be
introduced to the fundamentals of Aromatherapy oils and compounds used in
popular Aromatherapy treatments. Aromatherapy oils have the potential of being
deeply relaxing, uplifting and stimulating. Participants in this workshop will
be provided with a comprehensive notebook that clearly delineates the properties
and uses of Aromatherapy essential oils in a massage therapy practice. During
this class, information will be presented regarding how essential oils work, the
general benefits of aromatherapy, and the properties of essential oils.
Participants will have an opportunity to experience the fragrance of many of the
most popular Aromatherapy essential oils. In this experiential class, working in
pairs, participants will have the opportunity to give and receive a therapeutic
Aromatherapy Swedish massage session as you are guided with individualized
tableside assistance.
