Learn how to work in special environments where you find old & older adults

 

 

            This workshop offers the 2& ½ days format of  in-depth study of specialized massage for elders  that allied healthcare practitioners need for hands-on techniques to alleviate the pain of growing older. Participants will receive materials and workbook to learn these techniques in a workshop setting and put them to use quickly in Volunteer-Elder Clinics addressing the needs of elders with disease processes such as Parkinsonism and Alzheimer’s. Special Positioning and Wheelchair-based massage are some of the special areas to be addressed.
