Hello there--  There is a wonderful training happening in Austin the weekend of Oct 7-9, 2005 called Jamu Tropical Spa Training with Kim Collier.  There are CE hours available. Kim trained the therapists at the Crossings in Balinese massage and JAMU Spa rituals. With Carolyn Nimmo Webber, they created Batu Jamu -- a hot stone massage that utilizes JAMU Asian exfoliation remedies.  The Crossings was the first spa in the world to offer this unique treatment.  Please join us for this unique training.  --  Joy Sablatura

Kim Collier lived in Southeast Asia from 1990-1998, and consulted for many of the most exclusive spas in that region. A licensed massage therapist, esthetician and business owner, with a background in dance, music, and art, she brings a deep respect for Asian cultures into her work. She and her husband founded Collier & Collier Spa International, and Kim is the founder of JAMU Asian Spa Rituals, a company specializing in spa rituals, products, and trainings that celebrate Asian traditions and culture.

Arrival and Departure Information
Please plan to arrive for check-in on the start day of your program. For weekend workshops, check-in is on Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for orientation at 7:30 p.m. Workshop ends on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.; lunch is served after the workshop ends. For 5-Day workshops, check-in is on Sunday between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for orientation at 8:00 p.m. Workshop ends on Friday at 12:00 p.m.; lunch is served after the workshop ends. For overnight guests, you will need to depart housing by 9:00 a.m. on the last day of your workshop. In preparation for our arriving guests, we request departing guests leave campus by 3:00 p.m. Please note: Workshop schedules are subject to change.
