Massage for Cancer Patients and their family - This lecture and
demonstration will introduce how massage can benefit cancer patients
and their family and friends. Through a demonstration and a lecture,
the participant will be introduced to techniques and possible
scenarios on what to expect from clients who are being treated or
have been treated for cancer and how the family is also affected.
They will learn some benefits and precautions and will be directed on
how to further their education to be certified in cancer massage.

Licensed Massage Therapist and Nationally Certified Sat-Siri Sumler
has been a massage therapist for 24 years and has been working with
Cancer Patients for 16 years. She also is a teacher-trainer for the
International Kundalini Yoga Teachers' Association


Nationally Certified, Curtiss Beinhorn has been a massage therapist
since 1991 and has been at MD Anderson's Place……of Wellness since
2004.
