Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India (SAATHII), a registered non-profit organization, was founded with a vision to stabilize and reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS in India and ensure that people living with HIV/AIDS receive un-stigmatized, affordable and quality care, support and treatment. Headquartered in Chennai, it has branch offices at Kolkata and Hyderabad, and field offices at Karur, Tamilnadu, Bhubhaneshwar, Orissa, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Impal and Manipur.

About SAATHII Hyderabad

SAATHII- Hyderabad programs include; I) Provision of technical and coordinating assistance to Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission Program supported by Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Foundation which is being implemented at 147 health care facilities spread across the four high prevalence states of India, II) Provision of technical, programmatic and financial assistance towards Andhra Pradesh Family Care Continuum Program supported by J&J Foundation, American Jewish World Service and Asha for Education, which is being implemented in four districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Job Title: Program Manager

Position Summary

SAATHII-Hyderabad is looking for an individual with 5-6 years of experience in management of HIV/AIDS programs.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate with an educational background in medicine or and  public health / post graduation in Social work / social sciences / management with 5-6 years experience in HIV/AIDS counseling, care, support and treatment services.

           

Required Competencies

• Excellent written and oral communication in English and Telugu
• Sound computer skills (including use of Internet and Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment, demonstrated leadership, communication, networking and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to think critically and strategically.
• Ability to mentor individuals and organizations on financial, administrative and programmatic issues.

·         Willingness to travel extensively

·         Ability to work with large networks of health care facilities from the government, private and non governmental sectors

• Ability to work under tight deadlines

 

The above position requires a strong commitment to HIV/AIDS services and a strong interest in understanding the relevant issues.

The salary package will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Title: Program Officer

Position Summary

SAATHII-Hyderabad is looking for a committed individual with 3-5 years of experience in counseling, care, support and treatment issues of HIV/AIDS.

.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be a post graduate in Social work / social sciences/ management with an experience of at least 3-5 years in HIV/AIDS counseling, care, support, treatment services and mentoring.
