About the Course: The AIDS International Training and Research Program of the University of South Florida and Vadodara Medical College, funded by NIH, has developed a course in `Clinical Research Methods' for local Indian health care professionals who wish to strengthen their clinical research skills, particularly in the area of Adolescent HIV/AIDS. |

This 7-day intensive training program will offer both didactic and hands-on training in the following subject areas: 1. Literature searching/critical literature review, scientific writing, scholarly publication. 2. Evidence based medicine, clinical research and trials. 3. Biostatistics in clinical designs. 4. Interpretation of study findings, internal and external validity, applicability of findings. 5. Ethical considerations in clinical research including IRB process. 6.Grantproposal writing and grant management. 7. Clinical research leadership and management. 8. Special topics and project development in diagnosis and management of adolescent HIV disease.
ELIGIBILITY
