The Immunology, Allergy and Infectious Diseases Services (IAIDS) is
organizing a conference on 'Best medical practices in HIV/AIDS care'
on the 18th November 2007 , at the auditorium of the Indraprastha
Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. This conference will
include national and international speakers who would deliberate on
various aspects of diagnosis, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS. All
physicians, laboratory specialists  and other health professionals
from across the country, especially from the NCR and the northern
states are invited to participate in this event.

This conference will provide an ideal platform for learning newer
aspects in HIV/AIDS care encompassing basic knowledge about the virus,
its diagnosis, clinical management and antiretroviral treatment.
Prevention strategies such as STI management, PPTCT and PEP and Blood
safety will be the other areas covered during the conference.

A nominal registration fee of Rs. 500 would be charged to include
delegate kit, lunch tea and snacks.

A special session is being organized on the 17th November 2007 to
cover recent advances in ART. Eminent international speakers with
extensive experience in HIV/AIDS care will deliberate  on
international ART practices including monitoring drug therapy and
managing drug resistance issues.
Participation in this special session is complementary.
