Program Manager

 

Location: Chennai, with travel to states

 

Ideal candidate would be people with a minimum of three years experience at project management level in HIV and AIDS, with a masters’ degree, MS-Office skilled along with strong inter-personal and networking skills

 

Key responsibilities: Project management, developing child specific IEC materials, management of Children’s committee, appropriate delegation of work to project teams, Collating regular reports, achieve strategic objectives, manage resources, risk and quality management, financial and resource monitoring, Problem solving, Fundraising; Forward strategy; Monitoring and evaluation; Represent PWN+ at external events; staff management.

 

Advocacy Officer

 

Location: Chennai

 

Ideal candidate would be people with a minimum of two years experience in HIV and AIDS, with a masters’ degree (preferably in Journalism and Mass communications), MS-Office skilled along with strong advocacy, communication and networking skills

 

Key responsibilities: networking with national government departments; Advocacy for change for WLHA and CIA/CAA friendly policies and programmes; develop advocacy plan; development of advocacy position papers, e-newsletters, postings at e-forums, research on policies and programmes; project reporting; organising advocacy events, Supporting monitoring and evaluation; Skills sharing

 

Finance Officer

 

Location: Chennai

 

Ideal candidate would be people with M.Com, a minimum of five years of work experience, skilled in Tally, MS-Office along with strong, communication and networking skills

 

Key responsibilities: financial management, manage fund flow from secretariat to project sites, develop monthly statements, maintain books of accounts of projects, manage accounting staff, report to donors, manage IT, TDS, ST, set up accounting systems at project sites, recommend financial requisites, quarterly reporting to board
