The Gary Stewart Scholarship for Research in Public Health supports educational research projects of graduate students in public health. Funded through ARHP’s Fund for the Future of Reproductive Health^®, the Stewart Scholarship provides a $2,500 award and will be announced at ARHP’s annual meeting, Reproductive Health 2007. This scholarship was created to honor Gary Stewart, MD, MPH (1940-1999), a leading international public health educator instrumental in promoting the concept that basic health care and family planning are fundamental rights.

Reproductive Health 2007 will be held September 26-29, 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Be sure to mark your calendar for the preeminent conference on reproductive health sponsored by the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP), Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), Society for the Advancement of Reproductive Care (SARC), and Society of Family Planning (SFP).
