The membership of PLF is open to all people living with HIV/AIDS in Goa Goa
The mission of PLF is to promote a sense of belonging & render necessary care and support services to PLHA across the state and enable them to improve their overall quality of lives in particular and society in general.
The Positive Lives Foundation (PLF) has several job vacancies to fill resulting from a new
project in the State of North Goa.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and to prevent further HIV transmission in Goa
The timeframe of the project is April 2006 until March 2007. The job vacancies are as follows:
Programme Manager -01 Nos
Out Reach Workers -04 Nos,
Professional Counsellor -01 Nos
Office Asisstant / Accountant -01 Nos

Project Coordinator
Salary: Rs 8500 per month
Location:North Goa
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall project management.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
• Either MBA or MSW degree
• 03 Years experience in working on HIV/AIDS projects
• Knowledge of sexual, health and ethical issues
• Good Communication Skills
• Experiences in Team Management
• Fluent in English
• MS Office Knowledge

The Professional Counselor is responsible to counsel the parents, guardians and children.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
• Master degree in Social Work or Psychology or sufficient experience in the field of Social Work or Psychology
• Working experience or at least trained in counseling
• Experience in working with HIV positive people
• Good communication skills

Outreach Worker
Salary: Rs 4500 per month
Location:
The Outreach Worker is responsible for individual project activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
• Minimum school education is 10 + 2 years
• Experience in working on HIV/AIDS projects for at least 2 years
• Good Communication Skills
HIV positive status is preferred.
