Shala, We are all here for one reason to help each other. We need to be here
because alot of people do not understand out pain because they can't see it. The
supream court has ruled RSD is debilitating, I can only pray that your insurance
pays for whatever the dr. want you to do . What insurance do you have? I am not
familiar with your story, I am on the RSD site 2 more than here. I am sory my
name is Dawn and I have had RSD going on three years right and left shoulder to
hands and left back and now moving into leggs both. I do have a scs got it a
year and a half ago and still take all the same med's as beffore the scs, short
summary of me :) Please do not even use the word suicide,. Try to stay as
possitive as you can and take each day as a new one. It took them over a year
and a half to diagnose me so I went that long with no pain meds and thought I
was going to die, sometimes almost wished it but we can't give up!! Your
dr can recode items to
make the insurance company accept treatments and a good dr. that deals with
pain will do so. So I have heared on both sites. Go to your appointment and deal
with it from there. I will have to get back with you but there is a man named
Jim and I forget his last name but they have organizations that help get monies
to help are you on medicare or medicade yet? Do you still work? are you on
ssd? ltd? please tell me your story so I can learn more about you.
Just remember we are here for you!!!!!!!
I will add you to my pray list and hope to hear from you soon.
Take care and try to have a light pain day
Dawn

i sit quietly and read all of the stories and weep because i feel like
i am reading about my own life and pain and it is so scarey. The pain
is non relenting and eats away at me and the pain meds keep it at an
11 on a scale from 1 to 10...It's scarey knowing that some insurance
companies dont agree with what the doctors are doing and it has taken
me a year to get an appoitment with dr. schwartzman. What happens if
the insurance says no to what he wants to do, then what??suicide
perhaps? would that make them listen more or think more. This RSD is
the worst pain ive ever had in my life that never quits.
Perhaps you could ask about the lollipops they have for breakthru
pain..see how it works. i myself am on 100 micrograms of duragesic
every 3 days, depakote 2 times a day and nuerotin 2 times a day and
ambien to sleep and lots and lots of vitamins.... .i wish u all well
and just because i dont say much doesnt mean im not watching and
listening and learning and praying for you all......Shala
