Hello My name is Fallon.I would like to join your RSD group because
back in 04 my dad was working on a truck at his job.Well he did
something to his hand.A few days later his ring finger was getting
cold so he went in to see the Dr( my dad is the kind of man that
doesn't like going to see the DR) and his Dr sent him to the hosp to
get this test done that they put dye in his hand and fingers. The dye
showed them that the finger that was getting cold didn't have alot
of blood flow to it.And that he will need surgery to fix it.

Well my dad have that surgery and a few more after that one.Just to
get nothing but alot of pain and RSD out of it.

This is what has happend to his hand and his fingers from all the
surgerys that he has had.
Everything on my dads left arm and fingers up to his collarbone(sp?)
they say is RSD.
His hand burns all the time and is stiff
His nails grow faster then the ones on his right hand.
His arm sweats way more then his right one.
My dads fingers are colder on his left hand.
He can't wear anything on his left arm because he can't have
anything touching it because it is sensitive to touch.
He can't sleep at ALL even with his sleeping pills.
His hair growth is more on his left side of his back/arm.
He says everyone looks at him as if his arm is fake because his hand
is so tightly stretched, and shiny.

I would like in anyway to help my dad.But I just don't know how to
his is the kind of dad that likes to do stuff on his own and
sometimes he'll ask for help but sometimes he won't.I know when he
is in pain you can see it in his eyes.It makes me cry that I can't
do anything for him but pray that he will get better in time.He gets
mad at his arm sometimes because he can't do the things the he was
used to doing. My dad has 2 grandkids that love him so much.He trys
to play with them but can't do much.

In Sep my dad and mom will go to MD to see this Dr that wants to put
this thing in my dads back but my dad is scared to have it done
because all the other surgerys he has had done in the past has done
nothing to help him they just made it worst for him.

Any input will be helpfull.

Well thanks for reading my long post.Sorry that it is so long just
wanted to share.
Take care.God bless
Fallon.
