Dear everyone of you suffering with me and fighting
this insideous disease,
Its Jolene, still a bit new to the group. I rarely
have the energy to write, but I must share insights
with all of you in which has helped me tremendously.
I had lost my faith, my personality, my everything...
fighting this disease as I watched my once amazing
previous life slipp away into a distorted, miserble,
person i no longer reckognized,
but please listen...
I was hospitalized, on meds, the whole bit,
doctors, more talkjs of nerve blocks, they even made me
addicted to some nbarcotics,I even have the aweful
stress of lawyers too as this all started in a
restauarant as i was injured there...
i was growing so very very weak and hopeless.thought
of even ending my life a few times over now
A doctor told me about a book called full catastrophe
living which somewhat started my new feelings of
hope,... but over Christmas I was given another book
called "YOUR NEW LIFE NOW" by Joel Olsteen.
He is some young dynamic minister supposedly, I didnt
even know. As I read well into the middle of the
book, I came across wonderfull, hopefull stories of
full recovery of chronic and deadly diseases.
Heres the best part, the first time in almost 2 years
now, I actually have NO swelling whatsoever. Pretty
amazing after only reading a book. Im almost done
with reading and I have to say, that i have a
completely different attitude and that in itself,
helps with pain...tremendously!
I hope and pray for all of you. I feel close to each
and everyone of you as everyone I love has not been
able to graspe and understand this disease.
I found hope and new health and my faith and old
attitudes seem to be coming back to me and my mind.
Its only a book and reading, please, just give it a
try.
Many Blessings always to you all.
Love Jolene
