Round Rock Support Group Reaches Out to the Sandwich Generation

Many modern families face the dilemma of having to care for elderly loved one with increasing needs and the raising of their own children. Often this arrangement creates extra stress on the adults in this sandwich generation. In alliance with the Alzheimer's Association, The Cottages at Chandler Creek provides a monthly support group meeting in conjunction with this Yahoo Group! to help elevate the stresses of caring for a loved one with memory loss. We would be delighted to assist you in any way we can. We encourage everyone to discuss their current challenges with our group and openly invite you to join our support group at anytime. This monthly meeting is currently at The Cottages at Chandler Creek on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The support group is facilitated by the Clinical Director of Seniority Counseling & Consultation, Dawn Lakamsani, LMSW-ACP and the Executive Director of The Cottages at Chandler Creek Certified Alzheimer's Care Community, Melissa Brower.
