That's interesting. I've been on prednisone for a long time for my
arthritis. I hate to take it and am now weaning myself off of it..5 mg one day
and skip a day..its 5 mg daily that I'm supposed to take.

Thanks for your info. I know that a lot of these meds have so many of the
same side effects. it seems that every med I take has all the same
effects.

I was also taking cipro for a uti..and stopped that since a rash is listed
as a possible side effect.

I have a few friends who have crohns..that's a tough disease. My friend's
husband has issues with bleeding from the crohns and has to take
prednisone when that happens.

Any extreme temperature can irritate rosacea, and if you're very close to
your heating vent at night this may be the reason for your flared skin.
However, I have to ask how long you have been taking prednisone? My brother
took/takes it for crohns disease and it can cause facial redness and/or acne.
So maybe you should check with your doctor to see if this may be bothering
you.
