Paula-
Welcome. Any extreme temperature can irritate rosacea, and if you're very close
to your heating vent at night this may be the reason for your flared skin.
However, I have to ask how long you have been taking prednisone? My brother
took/takes it for crohns disease and it can cause facial redness and/or acne. So
maybe you should check with your doctor to see if this may be bothering you.
Gabrielle.

like the lupus butterfly rash but, as I said, didnt cross the nose. I know that
rosacea and lupus can resemble each other.

since I'm always cold. Turned the heat down to 70.

that's all. I'm fair skinned also.
