Thank you for the welcome Renee. Sorry for the slow reply. My step father
passed away this past week and we have been dealing with that. I have found
a few of my triggers. Coffee is one for me. I break out in the bumps when I
drink the coffee along with more redness. I think Caffine is also a cause of
mine. Since I have cut out both my face is clearing up nicely. I also
stopped used the acne face wash and started using a much gentler cleanser
and my chin as far as redness goes looks so much better and the two spots
besides my nose is clearing up so much better as well. I know I am not my
skin but in a world where everything is movie stars and good looks one does
tend to get to looking at that part of yourself as well :( I wish you much
luck with the diet you are trying. Is it in that book Rosacea 101?

Hi Pink (Mitzi)
I'm new too. Sorry for what you are going through, it's no fun! I too
remember the days of taking my nice skin for granted.
'You aren't your skin', a wise person wrote on one of these sites.
We'll all get this sorted out!
I really think the diet is great...I've gone way low carb... though I
must admit I'm not perfect, but, I'm still very proud of my progress
with it, over the last 5 weeks.
My DH is being very helpful ;) he points out my flushing for me. Now it
comes and goes instead of being constantly bright red. Progress... I
seem to be set off by things that have a little fermentation going on,
such as over-ripe bananas, kombucha, wine. I'm on the fence about
dairy, I think it is linked to my bumps, I think I may be ok in the
long run with dairy or maybe even fermenting stuff, once the irritation
is down to a dull roar from the diet. I hope!
