Just as an aside, I had a similar reaction to a sulfa medication. I
broke out in hives after the last dosage of the antibiotic. I know
some topical creams contain sulfa, or sulfates (?) and I've never
had a reaction to the one I used for my rosacea, but the oral
antibiotic was a different story.
