Chantix??   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #4708 of 5398 |
5 days ago I started using chantix, it is a new med for quitting
smoking. It is interesting to note that my seborric dermatitis is
virtually gone and my rosacea is somewhat clearing up. The only thing
I know about the med is that it blocks the nicotine receptors in the
brain and releases dopamine. Makes me wonder if there isn't some
validity to the stress trigger claim. In case anyone was wondering, it
works great! A few times I set out to go smoke (I have kids so I only
smoke outside) and got distracted and completely forgot to have a cig
for a few hours!! That's amazing for me! Thanks, Jen
