Hi Noreen,
Thanks for replying to my message.
I didn't even know there was an anti-inflammatory diet you learn something new
every day. I will go and check the suggested reading material, thanks.
Stress is something I have a very hard time controlling but I know I have to
learn to not sweat some stuff and let it go. I think what bothers me the most
is having arthritis and FM, along with the meds I take, I'm constantly tired and
I'm unable to do a lot of things then I get thinking about all the stuff that
needs to get done and I start stressing out.
My house looks like a tornado hit it 24 hours a day 7 seven days a week and I
just can't keep on top of it and I think this is my biggest stress factor.
Maybe I should just take the no care attitude when unexpected visitors turn up
and let it go? It's easier said than done though. :(
For skin care products I'm using Cetaphil right now and it seems to help but
time will tell and if I need to change it I'll take a look at the Dermalogica
Ultra Calming cleanser, thanks for the tip.
Well, go to go make dinner so bye for now.
Take care
Jayne

Hi Jayne,
It's good to hear that you are already doing some research to
educate yourself on this nuisance of a disease.
Regarding diet, i believe it plays a huge roll in the health of the
skin. ALL of the diseases you mention have inflammation as a common
denominator. So now may be a good time to rethink your diet and eat a
diet that is antiinflammatory. Dr Perricone has some good books on
this and Dr Weil has excellent advice in his new book "Healthy aging"
STRESS plays a huge part as well, which can be very difficult to
control.
Skin care products can also help or worsen your condition. I have
had wonderful success with Dermalogica Ultra Calming cleanser. But
you will find that what works for one person may not work for
another, it is trial and error with skincare products.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.
Noreen
