Re: Just diagnosed today

Hi Jayne,
It's good to hear that you are already doing some research to
educate yourself on this nuisance of a disease.
Regarding diet, i believe it plays a huge roll in the health of the
skin. ALL of the diseases you mention have inflammation as a common
denominator. So now may be a good time to rethink your diet and eat a
diet that is antiinflammatory. Dr Perricone has some good books on
this and Dr Weil has excellent advice in his new book "Healthy aging"
STRESS plays a huge part as well, which can be very difficult to
control.
Skin care products can also help or worsen your condition. I have
had wonderful success with Dermalogica Ultra Calming cleanser. But
you will find that what works for one person may not work for
another, it is trial and error with skincare products.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.
Noreen

obstacle will be with the diet. I also have arthritis, fibromyalgia,
IBS and have been a migraine sufferer since my teenage years so
trying to work out a diet that will not hinder any of these ailments
is driving me crazy.

problem although I have learned to monitor my intake and haven't
eliminated dairy completely from my diet but on how on earth can I
accomodate all these diet changes without sending myself loopy in the
process?

lose it so if I just eliminate all known triggers for Rosacea,
migraines and IBS I should be as skinny as toothpick by the end of
this month. <BG>
