Hi Marcella and all,
I originally had a total of 3 treatments with the FotoFacial machine
and then have had 3 more with the Starlux machine you mentioned. The
results from the FotoFacial were great but my derm switched to the
Starlux. My last treatment with the Starlux was really painful, I
don't know if that is because postules and pustules were brewing just
below the surface. That's what drove me to try the Z cream, which has
worked wonderfully. I also experienced decreased flushing and it did
a great job on the redness on my nose area and chin. It did keep my
face from breaking out for more than a bit over a month but the
treatments are very costly. I'm hoping with the z cream I can go only
once or twice a year to help decrease the flushing and keep the
redness at bay.
I am hoping to try a Foto Facial machine again to see if it is as
painful as the Starlux.
I'll let you know.

will be getting IPL with a machine that I am not familiar with at all
and that concerns me. It's the Starlux by Polamer. Seems to be fairly
new as I don't see it being talked about in forums. The odd person
has been treated and have had success. If anyone can share infor on
this machine, I would sure appreciate it.
