Hello.... I"m surprised to read that you haven't heard of anyone having reduced
flushing after IPL. I certainly have. I had 5 IPLs and it helped a great deal
to reduce redness and flushing. Never cured it of course and I am due for a
maintenance ( my derm stopped at 5 but I needed more then 5 ). I notice that I
am starting to feel the tingling and the hot face in the mornings again.
Anyway, just my experience.

Susan,

While many have reported success with IPL and rave
about it, there are some disgruntled rosaceans. This
happens with EVERY treatment for rosacea, including
the Z cream. The X-Factor. But the old saying,
'buyer beware' not only applies to the Z cream but also
IPL and laser. Not understanding the risks involved
and the side effects can be a rude awakening later
and saying, 'Why didn't you tell me about this before?'
to your doctor who made you sign all sorts of legal
papers before giving you any treatment tells you
something about this treatment. The side effects
and risks associated with the Z cream are indeed
quite minimal compared to IPL. I have not heard one
rosacean ever say that IPL reduces flushing but I sure
haven't heard it all. Maybe someone knows in this
group?
