Brady et al,

You mentioned others who had tried both IPL and z cream. I tried
several IPL sessions that were expensive and a 3-hour drive each
way for me. But, because I saw improvement, I went back.
HOWEVER, although hope springs eternal..., the improvements
were temporary, even though I was also controlling my diet, and
avoiding as many triggers as possible, fragrance, etc. and taking
the supplements Dr. Nase discussed in his book. So I would get
excited for a month or two and then the postules and other
symptoms would return. Tried many other topicals, prescription
and otherwise, and finally the z cream. Now that is what has made
the difference. I can honestly say that I now appear to have normal
non-rosacean skin, after 11 years of severe rosacea. Right now
with a little tan, I wear zero makeup and I'm 48. I still watch my diet
and take some of the supplements and avoid fragrance and
irritants however I can. I only need to use the z cream once every
two-weeks now if I get an occasional postule or itch or redness. I
did use it every night for 3 months to really rid myself of the
symptoms. I also did use the z cream soon after my last IPL, but
don't think there is any connection of the two together at all.

Hope this helps some make decisions about what to try. The z
cream is very affordable. Wish I had tried it before all those IPL
treatments. I could have saved myself a lot of money and time. But
that's the cost of experimentation, I guess. We are our own guinea
pigs.

Good luck to all,
Anne
