I know many others have got great results with IPL. I got worse,
however. It was after I did two treatments that I started to develop
rosacea. But it's importent to add that I took those treatments while
using Obagi products, with very strong vitamin A. The nurse said it was
ok. I have been talking to another place were they do the treatment,
and they said I should stop those products at least three weeks before
the treatment, because the skin becomes thinner from those products. I
can not be sure it was the products that caused my
permanent redness, or if I would have it anyway from the IPL
treatments. I have heard from som others that also got more redness
after IPL. Most I have heard about are happy with the results and some
don't see any results. But I think it's important to hear about us with
bad results too. And be careful about strong products before IPL! And
most important: find an practitioner with good knowledge!
