Pete,

I am also using the zz cream and have had a horrible outbreak of
P&Ps for the past two weeks. Just today it seems to be finally
healing and stopping. How long has your "bad" period lasted? I am
trying to judge whether this is just another flare for me, or if
it's the "worse before it gets better" time that the ZZ web site
describes.

Thanks,
Sue Ann

It is a tough call whether to keep using the ZZ cream or not. It may be
getting worse before it gets better, or you may be allergic to it. It is
your call.

I suggest use a moisturizer during the day. Some use Jojoba Oil,
Emu Oil, Tea Tree Cream, or Rose Hip Oil. Use whatever moisturizer
you know that has helped you in the past. Something to help the
dryness. I have used Noredol gel which is derived from mint. However,
you have to find what works best for your skin.

Only use the ZZ cream at night. Wash it off in the morning and
apply the moisturizer during the day.

You should know in a few days if this works or not.

Brady

Evening all,

I am new to the group and I have just been diagnosed with Rosacea. For a
couple of months now I have been getting out of the shower and I would have
these areas that were really red and painful with little bumps. My fiance has
been asking me to see a dermatologist but I kept saying it was just dry skin. I
am a teacher and I had a really bad semester. So by the end of the day my face
and ears would be bright red. I just brushed it off to being warm in my
classroom. After trying cream after cream and washing my face with everything
known to man I decided to go to the doctors. Sure enough, he told me it was
Rosacea.

I explained to him that am getting married in three weeks and I didn't want to
have these nasty bumps or redness all over my face. He prescribed me Galderma
and told me that I would need to use it for 2 weeks before I see any results.
The redness has gone somewhat but the bumps are still there. I have been
drinking water like a mad woman to see if that would help clear up my face. I
was wondering, since my face is VERY sensitive, if anyone knew of anything that
would help clear up the bumps a little faster?

Also, I did research about make up for the redness and I read that a green
base helps get rid of the red. I bought some Physicians Formula and tried
it....but my face has a green glow. Tell me what I am doing wrong!!!

Thanks,

Jenn

Hi Jenn,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!

I use physicians formula green sometimes. First I apply my moisturizer and
then after about 15 sec (after the moisturizer has been absorbed) I apply the
Physician's formula where there is pinkness. I apply it with my index finger
sparingly gently patting and blending. Then I apply a bit of translucent powder
to set it. All in all I think less is more. Use just enough to make your face
neutral.

Hope that helps and good luck!
Enjoy your big day no matter what! Remember it's OK to be a blushing bride!

All the best,
Melissa

I have the same problem with the acne bumps, I need something for them badly
and I have been drinking alot of water myself and not the bottled water because

Pete,

Any member can create a poll by clicking on the POLLS menu, the left menu on the
group
site. Then click on CREATE POLL near the top right.

I have created a database of comments of those who wish to comment on the ZZ
cream at
this url >

http://www.rosaceans.com/html/demodexdatabase.html?
key=zY315SNX&formname=demodex

There are only eight comments so far, but who knows, maybe it will grow? I have
collected
a number of comments on the different groups who say the ZZ cream works at this
url >

http://www.rosaceans.com/html/z2.html

The above list is comments is significant since they are spread over several
groups.

Hi to all.

ZZ cream is only thing that is working for me. Before I started using zz
cream my face
would be fire engine red for most of the time. And now my nose does not get as
red, if it
does than not for long. I am mostly pink like others, whom been on zz cream a
long time.
Also I wash my face with Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash, before I use
zz
cream. This is 38th day of using zz cream. I use zz cream 2x a day.

Hello all,

It has been a while since I last posted. Just to let you all know my
face type, I am 32 year old female, dark hair, brown eyes, dry skin,
sensitive skin, pink skin, suffer from flushes (then red skin). I am
looking for a foundation that will help with my dry skin. I use Jane
Iredale pressed powder now and it accentuates my dry skin. Also cannot
use aloe, causes skin to burn.

Has anyone on here tried Aveda skin products?? Most of their face
products have very few ingredients, which interests me. Also they have
a tinted moisturizer that looks good, but I always have reservations
about trying new products. Not to mention, I have already spent a
fortune on products---as I am sure most of us have.
http://www.aveda.com/home.tmpl

The other question is about Classified Cosmetics Era Face foundation.
It is a spray foundation that Carmindy on TLC's What Not To Wear uses
and it looks great. I am not sure how to apply it though or if it would
be good for the skin. http://www.classifiedcosmetics.com/ You have to
skip the intro and go to products and then Era Face. If anyone has used
this please let me know how it has worked for you.

Thanks so much to everyone!!

Russie

Research I have been doing shows that the demodex mite could be a possible
cause of rosacea and skin conditions. Has anyone gone this route, such as using
zhongzhou cream from Demodex Solutions or using Permethrin 5% (over the counter
in Canada but need prescripton in the US) I'm thinking of trying these and
wondered if any other rosacea victims have tried these. I also have something
else, maybe seb derm or psoriasis. thanks Julie

I am Chinese living in the U.S. From what I read on the Chinese newspaper, ZZ
cream contains steroids.

How true is it? I don't know. But I am a doubter so I trashed the one I
bought. Just my two cents.

Wouldnt steroids be listed in the ingredients packaging?
Thats a great question.
I have never used zz cream but might try it at some point. I know one
cream that usually helps me that I have used for a few years is a
sulfur based cream.

Does the packaging for the zz cream list ingredients?

Sometimes, some manufactor won't do that. As far as I remembered, it was tested

I will try to dip up the news when I have time. Have been really busy lately.
