I was on the Z cream for about 3 months of every day usage and had
noticed a marked improvement in my rosacea. I stopped a week before I
got a vbeam treatment about two months ago. About three weeks after
the vbeam (which was good) i started to get a little redder, but it
was almost like a mild rashy red. I was upset, but thought that I
might have to start a z cream maintenance regimen. I have found that
using the z cream once every three nights is optimal and keeps the
redness at bay. I just got my second vbeam a week ago and it looks
like i have this thing figured out now. as a victim of topical
steroids in the past (thats how i got here) i can testify that the z
cream does not create a dependency for your skin as steroids do. at
the hight of my steroid problems, my face was immediately red if i
didn't have some steroid cream on and immediately better if i did. z
cream doesn't work like that. it took weeks for the redness to creep
back and just one usage every few days to keep it at bay. i think
hoping rosacea goes away permanently after on3 three month usage of
cream is unrealistic. i'm just happy to have a working regimen. it's
all about the routine.
