Re: OCCULAR ROSACEA

Hi,
Sounds like my symptoms before I was prescribed Restasis.
It took about two months to note change, but change was significant.
Ophthalmologist told me it could take six weeks before I would feel
better. It took more than eight weeks.
Of course, I also drown my eyes in lubricant eyedrops through the day,
but I had done that before the ocular rosacea as well.
Restasis is generally one drop each eye morning and evening.
Good luck.
t.m.

A colleague has ocular rosacea and is using restasis in conjunction with punctal plugs. I know that helped him vs. restasis alone. Also you could try using...

I use Restasis. It's been less than a year and it's okay. I can't say that I've noticed any more of a difference than when I just used Patanol. My doctor...

Hi Everett, I used restasis for 6 months without any relief so my doctor had me stop and told me to see how my eyes were in a month. If they are worse then...

Everett, I've been using Restasis for about a year now with a fair amount of success. For me, at least, the dosing seems to be important. When I was...

Hi Liz... As far as I know, Restasis is not available in Canada. I donąt know if this is due to our drug agency not liking it or whether it has to do with ...

Karen, That's a good question (why not in Canada). I think I better do some research on the potential risks associated with the use of Restasis, especially...
