Dear people:
I have been totally cured of my rosacea due to cataract surgeries and my
subsequent diagnosis of blefaritis at the Rand Eye Institute. They gave me
instructions on washing my eyelids with Johnson's baby shampoo twice a day with
very
hot washcloths. It is painless, non-harmful to the eyes and gives my
blefaritis relief.
Only later did I read about Demodex folliculorum on the web and realized this
was probably my cause of rosacea. Being an entomologist and botanist I'm
quite sure the shampoo acted as an insecticidal soap similar to what we use
regularly to kill insect pests on our plants.
I have been cured for 6 years now and threw away my tetracycline.
Ron
