-As those of you who follow this site already knodwd I am not a fan
of NLite--Many played wdith it several years ago but the results
were rather dismal--A study by plastic surgeons in Dallas revealed
almost universal disappointment and all but one sold their equipment-
-I also have had personal experience with it and can tell you my
impressions were the same--1 to 2 yrs ago there were ads in the
newspaper in Phoenix advertising NLIte by physicians--Today you
cannot find a single ad for either its lateral periorbital wrinkle
reduction or acne treatment--Acne is far better treated by other
means such as The Obagi system of creams and Blue Peel, the Blue of
Clear devices and Levulan which is combined with the blue or clear--
I do not have the Clear but use all the other ones in my office--
Howdever one should start with simpler treatments first such as
topical retinoids and possibly benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin combo--
Some oral antibiotics can also be added later--Lots of combos and
effective modalities but NLite is not one of them--Incidentally the
company that made NLite doesnt make it ;anymore and their literature
cleary states "contraindicated in Rosacea"--NSoldoMD
