Hi all,
What a lovely post from Laura on her experiences in Scottsdale!
So hopeful.
I've been on the fence for a while about continuing my
fotofacial(rf) tx at Cooperrider's office. I do think my two treatments
have helped, and am also aware of Geoffrey's knowledge that this is not
the best machine for rosacea.
I decided to take the plunge. Friday morning (prior to my second
laser tx) I called Soldo's office and scheduled my first appt for May
6th. Yes, this is logistically and fincancially intimidating, but
hearing the results of Laura's maiden voyage (and David before her) make
it sound -- oh, so right!
I'm curious about the rosacea patients interviewed on Soldo's
videos. (Go to his website, then click on "Media".) I'm wondering if
any of them are among us on this board...(if so, please step forward and
take a bow?)
I'm feeling fortunate to have this treatment option (I'm aware
that many on this board don't have the resources to pay for IPL, nor the
resources to travel for it.), and am also excited about the recent
advances in treatment for us, generally. It does indeed seem, due to the
dedicated work of Geoffrey, the RRF, and all of us who contribute to this
cause in whatever way (such as giving support on this board) that we are
moving forward! I'm hopeful that a year from now, we'll all have more
treatment options.
Take care all,
Ellen
