Hello Kim,
It sounds as though you found yourself a good V-beam Doc. One that
uses the extra long pulse to slowly heat the blood vessels and
treating just below the purpura level.
As far as the neural burning, I can only give you my best guess. My
best guess is that it will only be transient in nature because of
his treatment protocol and staying in the moderate range. I would
be worried if he cranked it all the way up like some do and blast
away -- then you can really inflame those nerves. But he did not.
So,, I would wait this out. As everyone is sick of hearing me say,
I would also ask for a 30 day clarithromycin XL prescription to
ensure that the inflammation is knocked down immediately.
