Well, I have made my decision. This would not have taken any thought
at all if this was just a TOUCH-UP maintenance yearly treatment but
being a SERIES of Photofacials(because I didnt do the yearly touch
ups since my '99 series of 5) it did take some thought. I have
decided to continue to let the Dr. treat my ENTIRE FACE. I hope this
will make the results evemn better and longer lasting. I will just
have to shave my neck and all more often now to make it look similar
to the face areas. I feel the long term benfits of treating my
entire face outweigh not being able to have hair on my face
TEMPORARILY. I really hope, like Dr.Nase , and myself in the past
with 5 Photofacials that the hair loss is temporary and will come
back in full effect in short order. In the meantime, if I have to
change my shaving routine, so be it, the dramatic limitations of this
vascular disorder are more important, and gaining conmtrol of that is
the forst and foremost goal. Like I said I wil have to hope that
like after 4 treatments the hair growth will come back, for me it
usually does in a small number of weeks.. Obviously for 6 month to
yearly follow up touch up treatments this is not a concern at all,
but I want long term results so treating the Full Face I feel is the
right way to go for my Rosacea... I just pray that the stunted hair
growth is very short term, I'll keep my fingers crossed...
