Re: Photoderm Eye Protection

Right, I was told precisely the same by my surgeon and his staff. I
was provided _no_ eye protection during any of my IPL/YAG
procedures. Now, I am wearing surgically implanted eye lens implants
which (partially) correct those cataract-induced vision defects that
just "happened" to appear, then grew at an unprecedented rate, and
nearly blinded me within 1 year of tx #5, back in late 2001.

Take this for what you think it's worth, friends and neighbors.

I'm sorry to hear about this but I'll tell you something my IPL nurse
said. I asked why they don't wear goggles and she said they blink.
They are also about 12'' further from the light so I don't know what
an effect uncovered eyes would have on the patient.
