Hello Group and Dr. Nase,

I have been watching the group for many years and finally decided to
join. Most of my questions were always asked by someone else and
going through the archives I could find the answer I was looking for.
But after all these years I have an important question regarding the
ocular component. Has anyone totally lost their vision because of the
rosacea? I've had rosacea for almost 16 years now and up until now no
major eye symptons. That is until 4 weeks ago. My eyelids became very
red, swollen and sore. 2 weeks ago I woke up and my vision in my
right eye was completely blurry and still is today. I went to my
opthamologist who couldn't find anything. He sent me to retina
specialist who could't find anything. I am going to a cornea
specialist next week. Dr. Nase, I know you get many emails but when
you get the chance your opinion would be much appreciated. In your
book I didn't see any specific info about losing eyesight. I tried
Blephamide to no avail. The 2 doctors I've seen so far don't think it
is rosacea related. I do. Thank you in advance.

Jerry
