I am happy to report that after reading a book on line a few months
ago recommending cutting out sugar and carbohydrates, I have
virtually cured my Rosacea. I had it for 2 years, having tried
homeopathy, my GP who only prescribed ROSEX cream which only dried
out my skin, coffee etc. Now I don't drink any alcohol, don't smoke,
don't use any added sugar in anything and I'm happy! Carbs contain
sugar too. I only drink mineral water and one coffee in the morning,
minus the sugar. There is so much hidden sugar in foods. Once you
start to read the labels you realise how much we are taking in. I jog
each morning for 1/2 hour and don't flar up anymore. I have also
almost eliminated my hay fever, as well as a touch of asthma, which I
think is due to the jogging (in the woods, not on polluted roads)
Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the book, but it is all
available to read online. I think it was this one: A Simple Method to
Control Rosacea By Brady Barrows. you don't need a book, just try
eating protein and a small amount of veg at each meals. He recommends
less than 40g carbs a day. If this seems to work for you, then just
keep the sugar OUT and not too much carb. Good eating!
