Re: [rosacea] mixing Blackhead Clearing Lotion with Aspirin

J,

This may sound ignorant, but I was wondering if the demodex don't like caffiene
would it be unwise to try taking a caffiene pill, mixing with some water, and
crushing it up and dabbing it on the papules, bumps etc.?  When I read your post
about crushing the aspirin I just thought .......hum????  Appreciate any comment
on the subject.

in terms of clearing out the rosacea infection and parasite
infestation, i have found one of the most unlikely combinations to
consistently work wonders for me (over the previous week or two - if
it stops working, i shall post about it)..

again, it involves a Clearasil product, and no, i don't work for
Clearasil, i just tried one of their products two years after reading
that a fellow found almost complete relief from using 'vanishing
cream'.

took me at least two years to try it. the post was all the way back in
2006 .. perhaps i should search for it .. anyway i am not employed by
Clearasil ... i am employed by my own desperate need to not wear any
kind of concealer (even if it is sunscreen or anti-acne), because
aussie blokes round these parts dont take kindly to other blokes
wearing 'makeup'.

anyway, moving on to more civilised topics, Candy emailed me a very
helpful suggestion for which i am so very grateful; the technique of
crushing up an aspirin and mixing with a gentle cleanser, leaving it
on the face for five minutes, and then washing off for a "clean it all
away" effect.

well, i do like the idea, and although have not tried it as written,
adapted the technique to suit my own approach.

1/ crush one large or small aspro fairly easily using fingers, leaving
three or four larger pieces.

2/ pour a little Clearasil Blackhead Clearing Lotion into other hand.

3/ mix, and apply fairly evenly ofer T-zone, chin, around mouth. will
need to wash away from lips as it is not nice to taste.

4/ hold the three or four larger pieces against any bumps or previous
papule areas, and allow them to dissolve over one or two minutes.

i leave the solution on for around eight hours, during the day, unless
there is any uncomfortability; if so, it is removed post-haste.

this technique, for me, is incredible. i dont need to do anything else
on that area, it is almost completely normal after that treatment ..
although, a couple of years ago, the skin might not have tolerated it.

i did not think my skin would ever tolerate such a seemingly drastic
action, and yet is quite happy about it.
after a short mild slight sting, the skin seems to 'consider'
flushing, and yet does not. just goes tan colour.

the Clearasil blackhead clearing lotion contains purified sea salt,
and also contains Salycilic acid. i believe it is hassling the demodex
and also dissolving away any excess keratin protein.

of course, for those sensitive to Salycylic Acid, this technique must
be avoided.

the eyes must be protected; the solution must have no chance of
getting near any corner of the eye at all.

before doing this, i may well have placed some Loreal for Men "Vita
Lift" caffeine gel under/around the eyes, and massaged gently yet
thoroughly, to (a) protect that skin area and (b) hassle the parasites
(they do not like caffeine).

best regards

jasper
