Don't use Tea Tree oil direcly on your face, it's too harsh straight and
will irritate your skin. Use it in salve for example (more mild and actually
soothing) and better find salve with another good ingredients as well (I
mentioned the one I use in my post last week). And cover all your face when use
it if you don't want Rosacea move to different areas.
And I also believe that treatment must go both ways orally and topical.

Hi Everybody,
Thanks for providing so much information - I had no idea there was
so much out there. Briefly, I have had Rosacea for 14 years now
and luckily for the first 10 I used a topical cream which worked very
well. Howver, it started making the redness worse in the end so I
stopped using it. My GP was no help and I had to insist on
referral to a dermatologist myself. I was prescribed Oxy -
Tetracycline 1000g per day for 1 month which I finished taking about
6 weeks ago now. It did supress the redness and the bumps seems to
go flat against my skin but they never actually disappeared, also my
pore size reduced (always a good thing), however, now Im back to my
original condition. Ive tried zinc oxide cream at night, zinc
supplements, vitamin A. I use a very gentle cleanser and moisturer.
I use water to remove the cleanser and maybe thats not a good thing
to do ? I tried using Tree Oil when the acne got very bad and it
was like using alcohol products on my face, it really reacted and I
was bright angry tomatoe red for several days. However, now its
spreading up my forehead and its very depressing. If anybody has an
ideas or comments, Id really appreciate hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Helen
